CS Pulse

A resource hub for customer success teams, and the business units that sit next to them.

CS Pulse is a community of customer success practitioners. This is where we put the things that are easier to share as files than as screenshots - AI skills, templates and working references for the job as it is actually done.

Everything here is open, free, and built to be forked and argued with.

What's here

Repository What it is
customer-success-skills AI skills for customer success work - renewal risk, business reviews, onboarding plans, post-call follow-ups, email critique. Installs into Claude Cowork, Claude Code, or the Claude app.

More is coming. If you want to shape what, the issues on any repo are open.

Who this is for

Customer success managers, CS leaders, account managers, renewals and revenue operations - and the adjacent functions that live off the same account context: onboarding and implementation, support, and the go-to-market side of the house.

You do not need to be technical. Nothing here requires a terminal, a workspace, or a connector. Most of it works from what you paste into a chat.

The principles behind what we publish

Nothing is a prerequisite. A skill that errors because you do not have some file or connector gets uninstalled. Every skill states the least you can have and still get value.

Say what you could not check. Missing context changes what a claim can honestly be, not whether the work runs. Every skill names the checks it could not complete rather than guessing around the gap.

Every skill names the failure it exists to prevent. If it cannot say what goes wrong without it, it is a template, not a skill.

Mechanisms over statistics. A lot of widely-circulated customer success data traces back to vendor marketing with no study behind it. We build on how things work, not on numbers we cannot stand behind.

Contribute

If you do this work and something here is wrong, that is the most useful thing you can tell us. Open an issue on the relevant repository - what happens in reality, and what the skill assumed instead.

Missing something? Describe the job, how often it recurs, and what a good output looks like.
