I'd love stemkoski to take this, so I can point design-by-math types to his awesome(r) example.
It is possible to link to sub-repositories using git (though this is not recommended) or a package manager, but these are just for local development -- github's static site generator won't use or reference these, the only software it runs is Jekyll, a simple static-site generator that doesn't pull in updates from other sources. 3D programs can't handle leak .stl files. For the torus, as 6.283 is not exactly 2pi, there is certainly a leakage.
I was wondering if I could link (to get updates) to a github file in a different repo instead of plain copy it like I did now.
