We need to patch https://github.com/gin-contrib/cors to 1.6.0+ to address CVE-2019-25211
Solution
Executed the following to upgrade to the latest version (
v1.7.2as of Aug 12, 2024) for github.com/gin-contrib/corsThere should be no breaking changes according to the release notes from v1.4.0 -> v.1.7.2: https://github.com/gin-contrib/cors/releases
