Where to start?

You will need a high quality microSD card and reader from a reputable source. There are a surprising number of counterfeit cards on the market. The cards that come with the A30 are total garbage and should never be used for spruce. Cards of very high capacity (over 128gb) do not always work with the A30.
Find the latest release of spruce here and download the version for a fresh install.
Using a program like Rufus you need to format your microSD card to FAT32 for spruce to work. FAT32 and exFAT ARE NOT THE SAME. On Mac FAT32 is called MS-DOS.
