Bug description

Any voice messages that you have sent seem to be permanently marked as unread/not listened to even if the receiver has confirmed they have listened to them. Voice messages sent before the bug appeared are not affected retroactively.

Does this happen with all contacts or just some? Based on the logs it looks like this is working, you just never received a viewed receipt from the other person, which could imply a bug on their side with their linked devices (based on the log).

I also could not reproduce it.

It's consistently happening with one of my contacts. She typically uses Signal's desktop client to view messages.

Hrm. I couldn't repro with desktop. A log from your contact after confirming they listened to it completely and then you confirm it's not marked as "viewed" would be helpful to pursue this further.
