roxygen2 8.1.0 only reads the first line of a wrapped @importFrom tag, so nobs, predict, residuals, sigma and vcov were left out of NAMESPACE. S3method(nobs,galamm) then failed to find its generic when the namespace is loaded with no default packages attached, which is what R CMD check does in "checking whether the package can be loaded with stated dependencies".
