This release includes a number of improvements to the core code, as well as a few changes to the make files to make the code compile again on a common Linux distribution in 2025.

Notable changes since version 2.2:

  • Improved stability of the implicitly restarted version of the algorithm
    from using deflation in the QR steps.
  • Various bug fixes and stability improvements.
  • Refactored make files to reduce duplication among different precisions.
  • Changed default compiler on Linux from "g77" to "gfortran".
  • Removed LAPACK source files, and depend on linking a pre-installed version of LAPACK.
