The addition of networkPluginMode and the associated validation logic looks correct and well-integrated.
Cross-field validation between networkPlugin and networkPluginMode is handled properly.
CRD updates and deepcopy changes are consistent with the API modifications.
All tests have passed successfully, good to merge.
