C-MAP is released under the MIT License. The MEROPS database, used by C-MAP, is distributed under the GNU Library General Public License (LGPL). Users of C-MAP must also comply with the terms of the MEROPS license when redistributing or modifying database content.
C-MAP is available as pypy package: https://pypi.org/project/cmap-tool/1.0/ and can be imported using pip install cmap-tool==1.0.
