• Regional variants: choose British or American English, Brazilian or European Portuguese, Latin American or European Spanish, and Canadian or European French. English spelling follows your choice (colour or color).
• Plain-text export: get your transcript as clean paragraphs or line by line, with or without timestamps, in every language at once.
• Not every font can display Chinese, Japanese, Arabic or Hindi. Overcaption now automatically picks one that can for those tracks, in the editor and in your videos.

• Fixed: a component behind grammar-aware subtitle line breaks was missing from installed builds, so line breaks quietly fell back to simpler rules. Subtitles now break at natural grammatical boundaries as designed, on both macOS and Windows.

Long-file transcription fixes and cleaner transcripts.

• Fixed: transcribing longer recordings (roughly 25 minutes and up) could stall partway and never finish. This affected every platform.
• Improved: transcripts keep their punctuation and capitalization. The speech model lineup has new names and honest descriptions, and the recommended default ("Standard") produces cleaner text and runs faster than the previous default.
• Fixed: stray "-" marks no longer appear at the start of some subtitles.

Re-transcribe existing projects to pick up the cleaner text — your edits are preserved.

• Fixed: captions could appear several seconds ahead of the speech when a passage followed music, room tone or other non-speech audio. Most noticeable with the tiny and base models.
