A question. What do I need to do if the panel and touch screen don't match?

such like:
some devices used ft8716 panel and ft5x06 tp. but some devices used ft8716 panel and syna tp.

It works fine when I open the two touchscreen in dts at the same time

Change the compatible in lk2nd and recompile it.

For focaltech it depends on the driver how it was implemented if a compatibles do nothing so there is no compatible data or conditional statements for the compatible it does not matter which one is set.
