Summary

  • Update only package-lock.json: brace-expansion 2.1.2 → 2.1.7 (one entry) and 5.0.8 → 5.0.12 (five entries).
  • Preserve existing dependency constraints and all other resolutions. Only version, resolved URL, and integrity fields change; no unrelated dependency churn.
  • Generated with npm update brace-expansion --package-lock-only --ignore-scripts --no-audit --no-fund. No overrides or temporary manifest edits; package.json is byte-identical to its original content.

Validation

  • npm ci --omit=optional --no-audit --no-fund
  • npm run lint
  • npm run build (esbuild and TypeScript checking)
  • npm ls brace-expansion --all
  • Targeted assertions verified all six installed resolutions satisfy their existing parent ranges and pass brace-expansion smoke checks.
  • git diff --check and lockfile-only change verification.

Runtime caveat: validation used installed Node.js 24.18.0 and npm 11.16.0; .nvmrc specifies Node.js 22.x. The full VS Code integration suite was not run.
