I am in the process of creating my own theme, and discovered that the graph (progress bar) assumed that we would only be doing horizontal graphs, but that didn't work for my light sabre idea.
Rather than adding an extra param to the function, I've used negative integers for the width or height to indicate inverse direction. It's a bit of a hack, but it's working, and could easily be extended, but probably needs better checking.
