AGP 8.3.2 is incompatible with Gradle 9.8.0

The Gradle wrapper is bumped to 9.8.0, but build.gradle declares ext.gradle_version = '8.3.2' for Android Gradle Plugin (AGP). AGP 8.x is only compatible with Gradle 8.x — the Gradle team dropped AGP 8.x support in Gradle 9.x, and Gradle 9.6+ is known to be incompatible with AGP 8.x. This will cause the build to fail at configuration time.
