Laravel 13 is expected to be released somewhere between February and march 2026. PHP 8.3 active support ends on 31 dec 2024. PDO::MYSQL_ATTR_SSL_CA throws deprecation errors as of PHP 8.5: Deprecated : Constant PDO::MYSQL_ATTR_SSL_CA is deprecated since 8.5, use Pdo\Mysql::ATTR_SSL_CA instead in /Users/sandermuller/Documents/GitHub/hihaho/vendor/laravel/framework/config/database.php on line 84

We're not removing PHP 8.2 and 8.3 on patch release. |

The best way forward is actually to wait for symfony/polyfill#547 |
I understand, that's why it's a PR to master for 13.x, though we can probably indeed wait for the polyfil and then make this change in 12.x |
