Welcome to the IBL ephys alignment GUI user guide

Overview

The ephys alignment GUI is a tool being developed as part of the International Brain Laboratory (IBL) collaboration that allows electrophysiology features recorded from neural probes to be aligned to anatomical histology landmarks in order to better locate the position of recording electrodes in the brain.

Who is the tool available for?

The tool has been made available to use both internally within the IBL and for non-IBL users using. The installation and user guides differ slightly for the two use cases so please refer to the relevant section (either IBL user or External user) for correct usage.
