Creation: The overall process for creation, editing and revising is with the ICES data officer (IDO) working with the accreditation certification (to provide consistency)
- The IDO creates a 1st draft outline schematic based on information gathered in the dataflows section of the accreditation database.
- The IDO then reviews this with the Secretariat contacts for this dataflow
- The 1st draft is shared with Head of Data/Head of Advice support for review
- The IDO sends the 1st draft to the relevant Governance group chair, working group chair for review.
OR
- For dataflows that are governed outside of the ICES community, the 1st draft is sent to the relevant experts of that data flow (in some instances it may be that both routes apply)
-
The IDO finalises a 1st draft based on all collated and accepted feedback and delivers to Head of Data, Head of Advice support.
-
The Head of Data/Head of Advice support post the final 1st version on the ACOM forum for information.
-
The dataflow is published to the ICES library under a new section “data visualizations” and also under “advice”, and assigned a DOI
