Hello! 👋

My name is Ian. I am an undergraduate studying Statistics, with minors in Psychology and Pure Math. I am focused on statistical analysis, data visualization, and understanding human behavior through data. My goal is to learn more advanced statistical modeling techniques as well as some machine learning methods.

Skills

  • Languages: R, Python, SAS, SQL, and Java
  • Data Analysis: Regression methods, hypothesis testing, data cleaning, data visualization (ggplot2, Altair, Seaborn, Pydeck, Seaborn, BI tools)

Currently Learning

  • Building Python APIs using FastAPI
  • Frontend cevelopment in React.js

Outside of Work

Outside of work, I enjoy reading about the history of mathematics and statistics! I am currently reading The Lady Tasting Tea by David Salsburg. I also enjoy cycling outside (when weather permits), listening to Jazz music, and collecting wristwatches!
