About

This pull request adds support and documentation for running PX4 SITL under WSL2. The main changes include adding a new scene configuration for WSL2, updating the example script and documentation to reference this mode, and making minor improvements to PX4 build instructions.

WSL2 SITL support:

  • Added a new scene configuration file scene_px4_sitl_wsl2.jsonc for running PX4 SITL under WSL2.
  • Updated the px4_quadrotor.py example script to support a new sitl_wsl2 mode, including adding the mode to the parser and scene file selection.

Documentation updates:

  • Updated the PX4 SITL WSL2 documentation to include the new control-port-local field in the robot config example.
  • Added a note in the WSL2 documentation referencing the updated example script and the new sitl_wsl2 scene.
  • Updated the PX4 build tools documentation link to point to a specific PX4 version (v1.12).
