pdfjs-dist v5 uses Uint8Array.prototype.toHex() (a TC39 proposal) in its modern build. This exists in modern browsers but not in Node.js. Rather than switching to the legacy build (which would bloat the browser bundle with unnecessary polyfills), add the polyfill only in the vitest setup.
