I believe that reversing the order of these words may sound strange, since it would imply that the request is {media_type}.

Ao meu ver, vai parecer que o nome do pedido é "{media_type}". Talvez, se você usar um aposto para informar {media_type}, pondo "Tipo de mídia no pedido, "{media_type}", não é suportado", vai ficar perfeito. Aliás, seu ponto é válido, meu texto tinha ficado bem estranho.

How about Tipo de mídia \"{media_type}\" não é suportado.? The "request" is omitted from the French translations and I don't miss it ((I'm French and speak Portuguese):

PS: this message is coming from the 415 HTTP error code. Perhaps the Brazilian Portuguese MDN docs for the error code have some useful terms?

I am a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker and I just rewrote some sentences to be more precise and consistent with Brazilian Portuguese and English version.
