Senior software engineer based in Berlin, Germany. 12+ years engineering backend systems professionally, started on a Commodore 64 and never really stopped.

What I do

Backend-focused with Scala on the Java Virtual Machine, CQRS, DDD. Deep PHP/Symfony background (community member since 2009), plus solid Node.js/TypeScript. I apply CQRS and DDD to build reliable systems, complex integrations, and practical AI features.

I also know my way around infrastructure (Terraform/OpenTofu, Docker), though that's not my primary focus.
