How to differentiate requirements for objects within the same IFC entity?

We are developing an IDS and are using Applicability Entity to apply the requirements to the correct objects. For this, we have chosen the ifc entity to which the objects belongs. The problem we are facing is that different objects within the same ifc entity have different requiremnts. How can we differentiate these objects to apply the correct requirements to the right object?
Is there an established method for this?

Ask yourself WHY? Take it from an asset management point of view.
It makes total sense that the same IFC entity must have the same requirements (to me). I would question why you have different objects that have assigned same entity?

There are other facets (classification, property, attribute, etc) that you can use to differentiate.
