Instructions on accepting invitation and receiving credentials to show the features of the app

Hello all,

I've been working on the development branch of the British Columbia Indy network, using this as a mobile application. Ive been running into some issues on accepting the connection from the issuer agent. If you have time/ or have some type of tutorial for using this mobile agent to interact with the issuer agent (accept the connection and receive credentials) I would be really interested in this.

Hi @ILoomans, we don't have a written tutorial. We do have a video that uses the mobile agent with an ACA-Py issuer agent (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mmFSgSR5yPA). It is however a bit outdated.

Is there a specific issue you're running into?

We're planning to deprecate this app and collaborate on the aries bifold app (https://github.com/indicio-tech/aries-mobileagent-react-native)

Thanks for the response @TimoGlastra ,

I have a deployed issuer, we can generate the invitation_url, decode it and accept invitation on the app, but the state just stays on 'REQUESTED' after that. I think it's a problem on the backend but I'm not certain.

Hmm hard to say why it's not working.

• Is the issuer an ACA-Py or AFJ agent?
• Are you using an ngrok tunnel for both the issuer and the mediator. Are the agents able to reach each other?

If you can share your exact setup I may be able te replicate the issue.

The issuer agent is aca-py, mediator is AFJ, i found that i was only able to establish a succesful connection using the ngrok tunnel for the mediator on AFJ, I have started using the new app (indico) to test it and i am able to establish connection with the aca-py demo faber agent, however the app isnt able to receive the offer-credentials (sorry i switched up the issue a bit here). On the app i am getting a mediator error.

Mediation Error: 503 ngrok gateway error
The server returned an invalid or incomplete HTTP response.

Do you know of a publicly deployed mediation endpoint i could try this with?
