Some platforms(Amlogic/Broadcom/Rialto) have video/audio sinks that act as decoders also. And we need playbin3 to expose the stream as it is without plugin software decoder.

This issue should be closed as WebPlatformForEmbedded/buildroot#516 gets merged. It contains some patches from https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/gstreamer/gstreamer/-/merge_requests/4391 , one from https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/calvaris/gstreamer/-/commits/eng/4391 and some for WebKit (afb75cb and 0035d13). |
