The spec is one-shot only. We can either bring back periodic when we're ready to spec it or move it to a new api.

Is there still a reason to keep the idl.md file? To avoid things getting out of sync either removing the idl.md file completely, or just leaving a link to https://slightlyoff.github.io/BackgroundSync/spec/#idl-index might make more sense? |

Good point, it should be removed. And the readme should point to the spec. I'll do that in a separate branch. |
