Probably we would need to find some good way to update this dynamically when generating the zip package?

Hm, although with this fix there might be a need to make a 2.6.2 release, so we are better to put this to 2.6.2 as we must not move the tag. |

Yes, bumping it to the next release makes sense to me, @Letme . I wonder how other Platform IO projects solve this? |

After this merge the release should be made with this version.

Honestly, I have no idea- I just followed up on the issue. This seems another one of those platforms where "prepare release" is the moto and they prevent you from doing everything automatically in CI. |

I assume it solves #808
