In Sri Lanka, child health status tracking is primarily conducted using a paper-based Child Health and Development Record (CHDR). While effective at a basic level, this approach often leads to scattered information, misplaced documents, and delayed identification of deviations in child growth and development. These limitations reduce the effectiveness of healthcare delivery and hinder parents’ understanding of their children’s health status.
Bambinoo is a cloud-based, AI-assisted Digital Child Health and Development Record (CHDR) system proposed to address these challenges by centralizing child health information and enhancing accessibility, accuracy, and continuity of care.
