Project Overview

RFMC is a browser-based avionics procedure trainer for practicing CDU/MCDU flows, route setup, cockpit scanning, ND/PFD interpretation, and trainer-level autoflight concepts.

Current Product Shape

  • Boeing 737 NG is the primary aircraft family.
  • Airbus A320 support is scoped and documented page-by-page.
  • Cockpit mode includes CDU/MCDU, ND, PFD, MCP/FCU, focused panels, and task modes.
  • Visual baselines protect desktop, tablet, 3456x2234, Retina-equivalent, focused-panel, ND, and PFD states.
  • CONTROL mode and MSFS bridge foundations are mock-tested locally; PMDG live validation requires Windows + MSFS + PMDG.

What RFMC Is

RFMC is a trainer for learning procedure flows, not a certified flight training device. It does not provide operational performance data and is not approved for real-world aviation operations.

It trains:

  • Boeing 737 NG preflight CDU flow (IDENT → TAKEOFF REF)
  • Airbus A320 MCDU flow (INIT → PERF TAKEOFF)
  • Cockpit scanning with ND, PFD, MCP/FCU panels
  • Trainer-grade autoflight, LNAV/VNAV concepts, and route management

What RFMC Is Not

  • Not certified training software
  • Not pixel-perfect hardware fidelity (until rights-cleared references are measured)
  • Not a real navigation database (uses expanded mock nav data)
  • Not a live MSFS integration without Windows + MSFS + PMDG
