Scorecard has been failing since 2026-06-01. The repo is unmaintained; leaving a permanent red badge on a public 'readiness check' product hurts its credibility more than removing it.

OpenSSF Scorecard has been failing for ~2.5 months. The repo advertises itself as a paid-tool readiness check; a perpetually failing badge hurts credibility more than its absence. Cleanup only — no production behavior change.
