Input
- Added an option to adjust controller sensitivity.
- Elevator panels will now always default to the Open button when using a controller.
- Improved transitions between controller and keyboard input, ensuring the keyboard's scroll wheel speed is retained when switching back from controller.
Miscellaneous
- Added an option to show or hide error dialog boxes. By default, they are now hidden, so prototype maps can be opened without repeatedly showing missing sound errors.
- Fixed a bug where music could fail to restart after clicking the Enhanced or Discord link in the main menu or after quitting to the main menu.

Gameplay
- Added an option to use Binoculars, similar to later Splinter Cell games.
- @cazzhmir: Added an option to select from three new suits for Sam:
- Beta Standard

- Mission Statistics now support two rating types, Ghost and Stealth. Ghost penalizes unnecessary knockouts, while Stealth allows knockouts as long as the player remains undetected.
- Added an option to disable Mission Statistics.
- Fixed a bug where Mission Statistics were not persistent when loading into the second or third part of a mission.
- Mission Statistics now track wall mine damage more accurately: the player is considered the instigator if they planted the wall mine or caused it to fall from its base.
- Checkpoints are now saved across three rotating slots instead of overwriting a single slot.
- Improved AI reactions to near-miss gunfire by detecting bullets that pass dangerously close to NPCs, similar to Chaos Theory.
- Added an option to automatically lock the player's view onto cameras while using the Camera Jammer, similar to Pandora Tomorrow.

- Fixed a bug where pressing the crouch key during keypad success or failure would softlock the door, preventing interaction with both the keypad and the door.
- Fixed a bug where pressing the crouch key at the completion of a lockpick could interrupt the animation.
- Fixed a bug where losing an equipped item while Back to Wall peeking now correctly holsters the item automatically.
- Keyboard variable speeds now affect player movement when using Sniper Mode or the Laser Mic.
- Added a crouch speed multiplier while sniping, making movement slower when crouched.
- Modified the option to randomize lockpick combinations so randomization now occurs when interacting with a door instead of only at the start of a level.

Gameplay
- Doors can now be opened while crouched or carrying a body, using animations backported from Pandora Tomorrow.
- Added the option to use a new door interaction system with built-in Lock Pick, Disposable Pick, and Optic Cable in the interaction box.
- The selected rate of fire is now saved before entering sniper mode and correctly restored after exiting.
- Sam now adjusts his stance to match the NPC's during conversations, similar to Pandora Tomorrow.
- Added the ability to quickly drop a carried body by pressing the Jump key, similar to Chaos Theory.
- Added an option to use zoom levels (2x/4x) for the SC-20K, similar to Pandora Tomorrow.

- Fixed a bug by no longer removing the pistol from the player's inventory immediately after shooting the camera, as this could lead to issues when using Back to Wall peeking. The pistol is now removed at the start of the next section instead.
- Training popups will now dynamically display either the Keyboard or Controller instructions, depending on the last input used.
- Police Station
- Fixed a light that had an unintended glow when destroyed.
- Kalinatek
- Lambert's briefings no longer trigger at the start of the level, allowing the player to speak with Wilkes without interruption.

- Lambert's briefings no longer trigger at the start of the level, allowing the player to speak with Coen without interruption.

- The basement guards destroying the Feirong's data will no longer penalize the Stealth Rating.

Enhanced SC v1.0 Patch Notes
Gameplay
- Frag Grenades have been increased from 100 to 150 damage, making them lethal to enemies on Hard difficulty.
- The explosion delay for Wall Mines has been reduced from 1.75 seconds to 0.50 seconds to prevent running past the mine before it explodes.
- Improved the Optic Cable's enter and exit sounds, as the exit sound was previously missing from the PC version.
- Added an option to use the crouch key to drop similar to later Splinter Cell games.
- Added an option to use any vision mode in Optic Cables similar to later Splinter Cell games.
- Added an option to use the left and right movement keys to activate Open Door Stealth instead of the back movement key. This is recommended for keyboard users, as the back movement key previously scrolled through options when trying to use Open Door Stealth.
- Added an option to enable Thermal Vision across all levels, regardless of their original settings.
- Added an option to override Sam's mesh across all levels.
- Added an option to use Xbox difficulty, where Sam starts with 300 HP on Normal and 198 on Hard, compared to the PC default of 200 HP on Normal and 132 on Hard.
- Added a new challenge mode called Elite, which removes starting ammo, reduces initial health, and disables quick saves and other changes.
- Added an option to toggle the HUD on or off.
Enhanced.inicontrols the initial setting. In the in-game options, you can assign a keybind to toggle the HUD. - The initial speed at the start of missions is now set to the highest value.
- Xbox renderer textures have been restored to bring lighting closer to the Xbox version.
- Checkpoints from the Xbox version of the game have been restored.
- Improved controller support, now more closely aligned with the Xbox version.
- Vibration is not supported due to the game using DirectInput.
- There is some visual errors on the Xbox inventory and pause screen when using ThirteenAG Widescreen Fix.

- Vselka Infiltration has restored the PlayerStart position from the Xbox version.
- Vselka Infiltration has restored a camera in the control room that was present in the Xbox version.
- Vselka Infiltration now transitions directly into Vselka Submarine as a single mission.
- Included experimental versions of Nuclear Power Plant and Severonickel that can be played.
- Using the in-game console, use
NPP1,NPP2,SEV1, andSEV2to access each level. - Both cut levels currently lack level-specific audio due to incompatible Xbox sound files.
- In Nuclear Power Plant, you may need to Quick Save and Quick Load after triggering the meltdown to ensure the event works correctly.
- The first part of Severonickel is currently unplayable, missing StaticMeshes and NPCs, but is available for exploration.

- Localization fixes, including typo corrections and consistency improvements.

- Includes updated cutscene that improve the storytelling for Kalinatek, along with two new cutscenes for Nuclear Power Plant and Severonickel.
- dgVoodoo2 is included to restore Shadow Buffer rendering and set a 60 FPS cap.
