If accepted, this would a breaking change, since it removes compatibility with Vaadin 14-23. The commit isn't currently marked as a breaking change.

I am deferring the decision on this pull request, as it's not clear why it fails in the project that the original poster reported, while our addons-site, also using Spring 6 / SpringBoot 3, is not experiencing the issue; see #88 (comment)
