Hi! I'm Esther. I work as postdoc/research developer at the University of Aruba and I'm the project lead of the Dutch Caribbean Digital Competence Network. Before that I was a Data Steward at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands (amongst others, working on getting data about what data/code is shared at the Faculty of Applied Sciences thanks to an eScience Center Fellowshop!). And before that I did a PhD in bioarchaeology, studying the isotopic composition of human teeth.
- Contemplating the dynamics of volunteer/paid contributions in open science/source communities, particularly The Turing Way, thanks to a Software Sustainability Institute Fellowship.
- Adapting to a small university setting!
- Doing qualitative research :)
