I appear to be able to pull a div away from the keyboard when in simulator mode

When I am in keyboard mode, I'm noticing some odd grayness and it pulls the entire screen away from me - this is with basically the default chat setup from the demo, with a few color changes.

It's fairly hard to troubleshoot as I'm not sure how to replicate it on the web

Alternatively, is there a way to simulate the functionality in a browser so I can investigate it closer?
