Rebased branch again onto latest `main`, handling conflicts. And some earlier overlapping edits were already
incorporated upstream, a more recent change also moved the Docker setup to `Option A` exactly as my prior change had. Thus all that remains is in this commit is:
- Adds a brief note explaining what the `.env` file stores.
- Expands PGAdmin instructions with step-by-step UI guidance.
