you must have SSD1306 in order to see the result outputs , however if you are fine with only blinking lights then you can remove the SSD1306 related parts. After uplading run the python code while the esp8266 is still plugged in.If you are using windows then you will have to change the /dev/ttyUSB0 to COM3 .
