Tower of Myths is a hybrid idle RPG designed to run seamlessly in the background while integrating with social platforms like Reddit. Ascend an infinitely scaling tower, defeat terrifying monsters, collect epic loot, and trade with other players in a global market!
In Tower of Myths, your character automatically fights through waves of enemies in a dark fantasy setting. As you climb the tower, enemies become exponentially stronger, requiring you to carefully manage your equipment, upgrade your skills, and use the Forge to craft powerful gear.
- Choose Your Class: When you first launch the game, you'll be prompted to choose between the Warrior (high defense and melee damage) and the Archer (high attack speed and ranged damage).
- Combat: Combat is entirely automatic! Your character will continuously attack enemies.
- Stage Progression: Each stage consists of 10 enemies. The 10th enemy of stages ending in 5 (e.g., 1-5, 2-5) is a Sub-Boss, and the 10th enemy of stages ending in 10 (e.g., 1-10) is a Tower Boss.
- Defeat & Farming: If you die, you will be pushed back to the previous stage. Your character will continuously farm this lower stage until you manually decide to advance using the Map menu.
- Every 15 minutes, the Chest Timer (top right) will say
READY!. - Once it is ready, defeating your next enemy guarantees a Chest Drop.
- Chests contain equipment tailored to your level and current stage.
- Equipment comes in 5 rarities: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary.
Use the menu buttons at the bottom of the screen to manage your character:
- STATS: View your total Health (HP), Damage (ATK), Defense (DEF), and Attack Speed. Here you can also level up your character using Gold and XP.
- EQUIP: View your Backpack and equip gear into 10 distinct slots (Helmet, Armor, Weapon, Rings, etc).
- FORGE: Combine exactly 6 items of the same rarity and item level to forge a new item of the next rarity or a higher level!
- MARKET: Buy and sell equipment with other players globally. Sold items will generate gold that you can claim instantly.
- MAP: Choose which stage you want to farm or push forward to try and beat your max stage.
The game keeps playing even when you close it!
- The server will simulate your combat based on your DPS and enemy HP.
- You will earn Gold, XP, and even Chest Drops while you are away.
- When you return, you will receive a detailed summary of everything your character accomplished while you were gone.
- Stuck on a Boss? If an enemy takes you out in one hit, farm a lower stage. Use the gold to level up your character and use the loot to Forge better gear.
- Check the Market: Sometimes other players list exactly the item you need to push past a difficult stage.
- Combine Everything: Never sell items to the void! Always save your weak items and use the Forge to turn 6 common items into an uncommon one.
