I was setting things up to stream FFIX this weekend, made sure the game was installed with all the mods I wanted and everything was working as intended. Playing around, everything seemed fine, so I exited the game, turned on the TV I'll be displaying to, fired up XSplit to capture, and the game crashed. Every time. I closed XSplit; game runs fine again. I reopen XSplit, turn off x64 mode in the FFIX Launcher, and try again; that works fine, too. So it's just the x64 version, and just when XSplit is running.
I took a glance at the logs, and it looked like it said the controller interface that was crashing...? But I don't see how XSplit would cause a conflict with that, so maybe I read it wrong.
Anyway, at least the x86 version seems to work fine, so I'm not completely hosed! But I figured I should flag it up, anyway.
