Large scale code refactoring on project

There are plenty of places where code needs an improvement. Scope of these improvements is vast and would affect multitude of files.

What is owner’s stance on medium-large size refectorings like this?

I am ardently supportive, but you should try to avoid big changes. Better 10 small refactorings in 10 files than 1 in 100 files.
