https://api.weather.gov/alerts/active endpoint returning XML instead of JSON

Hi,

We've noticed that starting today there have been numerous instances of this API endpoint returning XML instead of JSON. We weren't using an accept header previously, so we added one specifying "application/geo+json" but the issue persists. Is there some recent change/issue that explains this behavior?

I also noticed this on fetches from a browser today for alerts/{id}. I'll report any I see from now on.
