https://voidlinux.org/packages/ is not consistent with https://github.com/void-linux/void-packages

I just found a problem.

When I search the packages "texlive-pictures" and "texlive-latexextra" at https://voidlinux.org/packages/, It showed some result like:

texlive-pictures 2023.66549 1 current 16M TeX Live - Packages for drawing graphics

But the package directory "texlive-pictures" and "texlive-latexextra" does actually not exist in github.com repository.

Is this a bug or some sync problem?

I also found that after I do

xpbs-install -S

In my local repository, the package "texlive-core" and "texlive-pictures" include conflict files. But they are both depended by texlive-latexextra.

The packages were removed: 9a737ee

Packages being removed doesn't mean that they are immediately pruned from the binary repos, although they do get added to removed-packages (and are uninstalled when you update).

Can I remove the outdated packages sitting in my local repos without updating the whole system?

I tried

xbps-install -S
xbps-remove -O
xbps-remove -o
xbps-remove -R $(xbps-query -Rs texlive | awk '{ print $2 }')
xbps-remove -o
xbps-remove -O

But

xbps-query -Rs

still show up 'texlive-latexextra'.

-Rs means it searches the configured repositories (anything listed in xbps-query -L, like void's mirrors), you can search what you have installed with just -s
