Happy is a free, open-source mobile client for AI code assistance, released under the MIT License. The software is provided as-is by the open-source community without any warranties or guarantees.
Happy is licensed under the MIT License. This means you are free to:

- You need valid API keys and accounts with these services
- Happy is not responsible for the availability or performance of third-party services
- Costs associated with API usage are your responsibility
Happy is an independent, community-driven project. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Anthropic, Claude, OpenAI, or any other AI service providers. Happy is a third-party client that works with publicly available APIs.
IMPORTANT: Happy is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind. The developers, contributors, and distributors of Happy shall not be liable for:
- Any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Data loss or corruption
- Lost profits or business interruption
- Any claims arising from your use of Happy
Happy respects your privacy. The app:
- Does not collect personal information without your consent
- Stores API keys locally on your device
- Does not share your data with third parties (except when connecting to AI services you configure)
- May use crash reporting and analytics tools as disclosed in the Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of Happy after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
