Elevation collection: Sonny's LiDAR Digital Terrain Models of Europe

"Sonny's LiDAR Digital Terrain Models of Europe" is the finest collection available of free elevation data of most of Europe. Almost all data is based on accurate public Opendata LiDAR-sources.
Would be great if you could integrate it into Mapzen's elevation dataset:

Thanks for the suggestion. At this time the preference is to pull from first party or primary data sources.

What sort of work do you do on top of the existing open data?

In general after downloading and arranging all the files, i did error-checking and -correction of obvious problems like holes/missing data. Or of certain artifacts like unnatural peaks/holes or problems at the edges of the data of the primary sources. And finally of course resampling to usual raster sizes like 1", 3"
So summarized, you won't get any finer elevation data in Europe - even from primary Lidar-data sources (because I used them for my work ;-) - than mine regarding certain grid sizes (1", 3", 20m, 50m)
