Dual mesh construction

I would like to understand how a dual mesh is constructed in SU2 (version 8.3.0). I am unable to find where this subroutine (which folder / which file) to generate the dual mesh is located. I see a CreateDualGraph subroutine in externals\metis\libmetis\mesh.c. Is this the subroutine that constructs the dual mesh used in SU2 FVM?

Also, is the dual mesh a polyhedral mesh if the primal mesh is tetrahedral?. My specific objective is to understand how the dual mesh is handled at the boundary surface in 3D.

You should not focus on the programs in externals. The dual grid is located in Common/geometry/dual_grid. Constructing the dual grid is handled by the CPhysicalGeometry method.
