hi, Fossify Voice Recorder and some other apps support using the additional microphones that many Android phones come with

for example

• camera
• voice performance
• voice recognition
• etc

if a dropdown could be added to support picking a mic that would be appreciated

also if there could be a page or similar which shows the volume level being recorded like other recording apps it would be great

Added Audio Source setting in v2.7-beta1

if there could be a page or similar which shows the volume level being recorded

I'm not sure I have the place on the screen for that... I can read (analyze) the recording level in dB, but where to show it if the program not only can record but also play audio at the moment... Can you perhaps suggest something?

thanks for the quick change

for the volume level

• maybe add a new button "waveform" to the left or right of the other buttons
• when that button is clicked it switches to a page with the waveform
• when recording or playing back an audio, the waveform will scroll right to left similar to other voice recording apps
