I wish standardnotes had a super powerful text editor that I could customize to my liking.

Describe the solution you'd like

I'm aware that there's the super notes editor. However, I wish there was a way to use my goto text editor also in standardnotes - Neovim. Since Neovim is highly embedable, I suggest that a new note type "neovim" is created that embeds plain neovim into standardtnotes. An example for this is Firenvim.

I see a lot of alignment with the longevity statement:

• This proposal doesn't burden standardnotes with maintaining another editor
• The super powers of neovim would be added to standardnotes "for free"
• Vim/neovim has been around forever and they're not going away any time soon, so they have a proven longevity record

Describe alternatives you've considered

• Using the integrated vim mode - not great, lacking lots of functionality and being very bland :-/
• Switching to the super notes edtior - not great as it lacks vim keybindings :-/
• Switching to another note taking app - meh, standardnotes is great :-/
