Have you read the Longevity Statement? Yes
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Today, in an effort to speed up the app, remove clutter, and increase stability, I went through my installed plugins and removed ones that I don't use. While doing this, I had to guess what some of the plugins did.
For example, there was a "2FA Manager" plugin and an "Authenticator" plugin; removing the latter removed a duplicate Authenticator entry from my list of note types, but removing the former didn't do anything visible, and now I don't know what I just removed.
Describe the solution you'd like
The Plugins settings page lists an author and a short description for each plugin that isn't currently installed, but it doesn't show either of those things for plugins that are installed. It would be easier to know which plugins are official and what each one does if that information was also listed for the installed plugins.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Putting some kind of icon next to the current official plugins in the installed list (or, conversely, putting an icon next to plugins that aren't part of the current official set) could improve the current situation. However, it wouldn't solve the issue of plugin names not always clearly mapping to GUI features (descriptions are more useful for that).
Additional context

Below, you can see some of the uninstalled plugins with authors/descriptions, and some of the installed plugins with no information beyond the names:
