Feature request 💡
Include a markdown version of the super notes in the encrypted backup.
This could be an additional option available when configuring the backup.
I appreciate super -> markdown is lossy but this feature would be very useful. Given that it's already possible to view the markdown for a super note from the desktop app, it appears that it's feasible.
With the current situation, where super notes are backed up as json files, there's not much I can do with them without a lot of work, if Standardnotes goes away, or I want to use them for something else.
This feature would bring Standardnotes up to the future-proof level of something like Obsidian (where you always have your notes available as markdown).
Other solutions considered
Include a super -> markdown option in the decrypt.html that's provided with the backup
This is a possible alternative, however as new features are added to the super editor, in particular new block types, decrypt.html would need to be updated to understand how to translate those to markdown.
