probelm with sudo npm install arpjs

Hi @milangroshev . I just figured out that there was an issue with the socketwatcher module used by node_pcap. Ive updated the dependencies and things are working fine now.

Tnx a lot for looking at it, i just try it again and it gives me the same error

I try sudo npm install arpjs and again the same errror regarding socketwatcher and the same exit code

Hmmm. Seems weird. I just installed arpjs and it works fine. I had the socketwatcher error before the fix I did earlier today.

Could you please confirm the versions of nodejs and npm that you use?

@milangroshev I just cheked this using node v5 and I don't get any errors. Could you please confirm the OS you are using?

@milangroshev, maybe stating the obvious (so excuse me if I am!) have you tried setting permissions for the install paths to your current user, e.g.

sudo chown -R whoami ~/.npm
sudo chown -R whoami /usr/local/lib/node_modules

(obviously use your own paths, and you can specify your user instead of running whoami in back ticks)

I have this same issue on Ubuntu 12.04 precise. Issue only appeared after upgrading Node from 10.33 to 0.12.9. Not sure how to resolve.
