[BUG] del chat history button not working

What happened?

the del chat history button is not working for me , my chat log still display.
gc kill don't do anything either.
i try tried deleting shynimoon folder, it did reset everything but the bug still persist, any new chat can't be deleted once again.

i'm using the steam version , on windows 11 , mate engine ver x3.2

after deleting shynimoon , its fixed but mate engine need to be restarted for it to work like on issue #351
